BIOS family photos

I capture the dialogues and the moments that reflect the feelings of childhood, digging past the stereotyped exuberance and joy of childhood, to include and explore the powerful trepidations, fears, and challenges children confront. Children impress and inspire me with their unrelenting resolve, resilience, and ingenuity. My photo series follows the well-worn path of casual photography doc**enting the family experience in the snapshot style. I embrace that sensibility of recording whom, and the where and the when, and I add a generous glimpse into the swirling dimension of why, and what that feels like.

I was thrilled when I learned that my computer company of choice was going to incorporate the Intel processors with their new model introduction. I bought the first desktop available with the 2 x 3 GHz Dual-Core Intel Xeon chips, and have been thoroughly pleased with their performance and speed. As a photographer processing increasingly larger image files on my desktop with a plethora of programs running, I cannot overstate the need for a robust and fast processor to ease my workflow. The Intel processors allow me to create, alter, edit and experiment with variations of my digital images without waiting for my computer to catch up. Without the speed advantage of the Intel chips in my computer I would literally not have the bandwidth in my day to pursue this project.
