Wall Crawl
ABOUT THE PROJECT
Wall Crawl is a study of movements which are used to visualize sounds and create experimental motiongraphics. It was inspired by Lionel Ritchie's music video "Dancing on the Ceiling"where a room was rotated on a 360 degree axis. Wall Crawl was inspiring in itself since there were no storyboards. My only plan was to push the processor as much as I could, animate to the music, and change my techniques after every 8-count.
HOW INTEL PLAYED A PART IN THE PROJECT
Intel played a major part in this project since all of my footage was shot in HD and every clip had multiple effects, motion blurs, and color corrections. Thanks to the i7, I could always load more effects onto the footage and hardly notice a difference in processing time. My workflow became a place of experimentation because I knew I wasn't going to be slowed down, this really opened the doors to having fun with the project.
